The Indian Society of Oral Implantologists (ISOI) was established in 1988 as the Bombay Society of Oral Implantologists (BSOI) and became a national organization in 1993. Our journey began with a vision to standardize and promote implant dentistry across India.

Today, ISOI stands as the premier professional body for dental implantologists in India, with over 5,000 members nationwide. We are committed to advancing the science and practice of oral implantology through continuous education, research, and ethical practice.

As an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization, we maintain the highest standards in our educational programs and member services.

Key milestones in ISOI's distinguished history

1988

Foundation as BSOI

Founded as the Bombay Society of Oral Implantologists (BSOI) by pioneering dentists committed to advancing implant dentistry in India.

1993

National Expansion

Expanded to become the Indian Society of Oral Implantologists (ISOI), establishing a national presence and framework.

1998

First National Conference

Launched the first ISOI National Conference, now recognized as India's premier implant dentistry event.

2005

Fellowship Program

Introduced the Fellowship program to recognize and certify excellence in implant dentistry practice.
