The Indian Society of Oral Implantologists (ISOI) supports research aimed at enhancing implant dentistry outcomes for the benefit of patients. ISOI believes Indian research can spur innovations in the field. Grants are available to qualified investigators and clinicians across disciplines, subject to the following conditions.
Terms and Conditions
All applications must be submitted electronically to The Secretary, ISOI via isoi0050@gmail.com or kalepr@gmail.com.

Applications received by November 30 will be considered for grants for the upcoming year.
Projects must begin within 3 months of grant application.
First installment is released after three months upon project progress review.
Progress reports are required every four months for further disbursement.
Funds are to be sent to a dedicated research account.
Terms and Conditions of the Award
Aims must differ from any pending grant applications.
May supplement other grants, but total must not exceed project cost. All funding sources must be disclosed.
Grants cover up to 30% of the total cost or ₹50,000—whichever is higher. Final amount is committee-determined.
One grant per project only.
Disbursement occurs in installments; the final 10% is released after submission of final results.
Projects should be completed in 18 months; extensions upon request and review.
Any significant project changes must be communicated to ISOI; they reserve the right to cancel the grant.
The Committee reserves the right to approve, refuse, or discontinue grants.
Allowable Expenses
Grant funding may be used for:
Research supplies and scientific literature.
Small equipment. Large equipment or office space purchases are not permitted.
Indirect costs are not allowed.
Unused funds must be returned to ISOI to support future research projects.
